Northern Hope Gymnasts Shine at Inter-Regional Championships
Northern Hope Gymnastics Club is celebrating an incredible weekend of success after five of our partnerships represented the North at the Inter-Regional Championships in Southampton on the 2nd and 3rd of May.
Although the gymnasts were competing for the North regional team rather than for the club itself, it was still a club effort and team that headed there together.
The competition was extremely tough, with large categories and an exceptionally high standard throughout the weekend. To see all five partnerships return home with medals is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the hard work, resilience and determination shown by both the gymnasts and coaches this season.
Our medal winners were:
🥇 Finley and Emmie — 1st Place, Disability Level 2 Mixed Pair
🥇 Lilly and Abigail — 1st Place, Disability Level 2 Women’s Pair
🥇 Lilly, Emily and Emily — 1st Place, Disability Level 2 Women’s Group
🥈 Indie and Sophie — 2nd Place, Level 2 Women’s Pair
🥈 Libby and Martha — 2nd Place, Level 4 Women’s Pair
These results are an incredible achievement not only for Northern Hope Gymnastics Club, but also for the North region as a whole.
We would also like to congratulate all of the other North competitors who brought home gold, silver and bronze medals across the championships. The teamwork, support and atmosphere throughout the weekend was fantastic to be part of.
A huge well done to every gymnast, coach and family involved. We could not be prouder of what has been achieved.
